BEGINNER? HERE IS HOW TO WRITE ABOUT YOUR BEST SUMMER DAY
So, are you a beginner, dreaming of the first story you would write in French?
Like most of us, Michelle didn’t think she was a storyteller.
Can you relate? I know I can!
But think about it: we’re raised with stories, we earned our status in our childhood games by using stories and those of us who have children of their own didn’t escape the demands to tell bedtime stories. Over and over and over again.
And I’m not talking about complicated stories, with complex conflicts and a glorious character arc, I’m talking about the day-to-day stories we tell without realizing.
Here’s Michelle’s touching story of a magnificent summer day, written in French.
Enjoy!
The first time I fell in love with the French language and culture was in high school.
That was a long time ago, and since then, I have started, stopped, and re-started from the beginning three times!
My goals have always been to be confident in speaking French, to be understood when speaking French, and to understand when spoken to in French.
I found Llyane by accident one day, and I am glad that I did! I have been studying with her for about six months and have already seen an improvement in all three of my goals.
Llyane has helped me to understand the nuances of the French language – both spoken and written. She is also a wonderful coach who provides endless support, guidance, and encouragement every step of the way.
It’s been a great experience so far, and I look forward to many more years.

NOW IT IS YOUR TURN!
