Don’t reduce your French learning to listening to podcasts. Practicing listening helps a little for conversation, but mostly it trains you to become a good listener.
Reading doesn’t help you speak French: it only helps you become a better reader.
Watching fun videos will entertain you: instead of motivating you to speak, these videos will help you understand better the spoken French.
How to learn French online
What works, are the conversation programs 1:1.
If you want to be a good conversationalist, you need to practice conversation.
Reading, watching, listening can be done by yourself, but conversation can ONLY be done with another person.
And, because it’s very hard to find someone who corrects you in a constructive way, a way that helps you make progress, a way that doesn’t overwhelm you, you need to find a good French language coach to help you.
