How to find definitions for multiple words in French

For vocabulary and expressions, I recommend: Free online translation, dictionary

Use it to translate a word at a time, not entire sentences.

Do yourself a favor, however, and don’t learn lists of words. If you want to become good at conversation, learning lists of words will only improve the skill of learning lists of words, not the skill of conversation.

If you want to have a larger vocabulary for conversation, write down sentences that are true for your life, where you use those words. The more stories you make (which is the written rehearsal of conversation) the better you’ll know your vocab. 😉
