My name is Ina. French is my favorite hobby and a true passion of mine.

For a few years now I have been studying the language as well as learning about the history, civilization, and art.

Although I started taking French with a private tutor and by listening to podcasts,

I seemed to remain on the same level for quite some time.

And it’s only when I met Llyane and took her course Extensif, that
I noticed a remarkable continuous progress!

While the road ahead is quite long (you heard about those famous 10,000 hours!), I am on my way to become multilingual and enjoy this adventure so much!

Quoi de mieux qu’une baguette parisienne ?

Je viens de voir une image magnifique d’une baguette croustillante qui vous fait baver.

Et j’ai dû en écrire !

Quand je voyage à Paris, même avant mon arrivée, je rêve déjà d’avoir ce délice barbouillé du beurre et de la confiture.

Je crois, en effet je suis sûre, que je me permettrai de me livrer au pain entier et de ne pas me sentir coupable parce que c’est simplement la meilleure chose dans le monde.

Je n’oublie jamais, ma fille non plus, prendre un petit déjeuner dans un café à Saint Germain, dévorer des baguettes chaudes et croustillantes et nous croire être au sommet du monde.

La croûte croustillante est dorée, la mie blanche et moelleuse et le croûton – la meilleure partie – qu’est-ce que peut se comparer à ça ?

Mais pourquoi, nous nous demandons, la baguette est-elle si délicieuse en France ?

On dit que ce doit être la farine du blé, la terroir, les ingrédients – la loi française n’autorise que l’utilisation de la farine, du sel, de l’eau et de la levure.

Le pain est 100% naturel, sans aucun additif ni conservateur.

En plus, la baguette ne peut pas être congelée pendant n’importe quelle étape de la production.

J’ai appris qu’il y a une compétition annuelle,
le Grand Prix de la baguette, qui a lieu par conséquent cette semaine à Paris.

Les baguettes sont jugées par la cuisson, le goût, le croquant, l’odeur et l’apparence.

La précision de la préparation est incroyable avec tous les exigences pour le poids, la longueur et la salinité.

Les événements comme ça nous montrent l’importance du pain dans la cuisine française.

Heureusement pour nous, il y a 26.000 boulangeries en France, donc il n’y a jamais un problème d’obtenir une baguette.

Je ne peux pas attendre jusqu’à ma prochaine visite à Paris pour profiter des baguettes, des ficelles, des flûtes – tout ce que je peux trouver !
