HOW TO SOLVE YOUR BACK TO SCHOOL DILEMMA

back to school 2020

So, do you have a panic attack when you think about going back to school?

Whether we’re worried for our children’s health and their socialization limitations, the teacher’s health or the economy slowing down for far too long, this is no easy task.

2020 came with a tall order, didn’t it?

Read the article below to see what we prepared for you to help you solve the back to school dilemma, and watch the video for some viral learning.

Say “back to school” and most people will have a panic attack.

This is what 2020 brought to us, and it’s a bigger, more complex problem that we could’ve imagined.

Whether the parents aren’t sure if they should send their child to school or homeschool them.

Or the teachers feel unsafe at school and try to cope with the high demand to create a safe environment for the kids and for themselves.

It’s the egg and chicken situation – stay home to reduce the spread of the pandemic, thus shrinking the economy, or send kids to school to be able to work with the fear that the pandemic could hit closer to home than we want.

Not to mention the socialization limitation for children which happens whether we keep them home or send them into reduced classes at school.

And that’s just for the younger citizens.

Not many adults are happily going to a course that they want to take any more.

Not in 2020.

So, then what is the solution?

Of course, online courses are the hot option these days, yet we’ve been burned out by the remote, sometimes distant, in many cases quite impersonal courses online.

So, while we don’t pretend to fix the problem for children, we at J’Ouellette® have put together a group course model that could appeal to many adults.

What if you had a group of new friends that you could meet on a regular basis? What if socialization was an option, how would that be for you?

You’ll meet people from around the world – many in your own timezone and at your level in French.

We help you find a partner for conversation, we give you learning materials and we meet weekly to answer your questions and coach you through your Francophile journey.

Every time with a coffee (or tea, or juice – your choice) at a different Parisian café that you love and miss and wish you could visit soon.

The Back to School Event at J’Ouellette® offers you just that: even if you can’t hug us, we’re there for you and we hug you virtually and will welcome you in our family every week, with a good coffee and a French béret, laughter and great French culture.

If you’re not looking for a comprehensive program, then the DIY French Club is just what you need.

After all, if you do have children that you consider homeschooling this fall, being part of our Francophone family will help you become the best French tutor for your young’uns 😉

Now it is your turn!

Tell us in the comments below, what is your back to school strategy this year? 🙂
